About Ruth Jankowitz
The Baltimore native took a makeup course and got licensed when she was 17, took a wig styling course when she was 18, and got her cosmetology license at 26. In between, she enhanced the beauty of family members and friends, as a hobby. With her ten plus years of experience, the licensed cosmetologist gained the confidence to open Beauty and Beyond, one of Baltimore's best kept secrets, a full-service salon and spa in northwest Baltimore. Ruth loves making people look and feel beautiful and prefers to do a variety of beauty services on a diverse clientele. She is passionate about her work and enjoys helping clients unwind and get beautified with a one-stop-shop experience. Ruth's values combined with Beauty and Beyond's mission statement make her unique, personable and easy to work with.
